my bike

Two wheels on slippery streets. My bike is not really what you would call safe: I do not have a brake in the front, I recently lost my lights and I do not own a bell. Well I guess I need to get to the safe side of life. I think this Lightning Vest from Dargelos is quite a neat idea.

Cheerios in the morning. Why do postmen always ring on the door when I'm under the shower? Well today I was lucky, because my dad was still at home to open. Ordered some christmas presents 3 days ago - they are really quick at Amazon, right?! Wished there was a new package of Honey Nut Cheerios in it too, since the one my sister brought from America is already emptying. Did you know that Cheerios ist the world's best selling cereal? Well then, why don't they sell it in Austria?

ohwurm of the day

Skinny legs with a loud voice. Went to hear The Horrors yesterday at Flex. I especially liked their visuals on the videowall they had on the back of the stage - similar to the videoclip of "Still Life".

cheese, bratwurst and fog

Foggy days. I have spent the weekend at my grandmother's place. Ate a lot of swiss food and enjoyed the foggy weather. Reason for the spontaneous trip to Switzerland was to watch the construction of my father's friend's house in Appenzell. It's a threehundred years old farmhouse that is partly under monumental protection. They tore down the old barn and built the new structure within the old volume with prefabricated components. It was great to watch the house "grow" during the day. Can't wait to see it with windows and finised facade next time I'm there!
