my first goose

YUMMY. This is what we ate on wednesday. I never cooked goose before and I was really surprised how easy it was. It stayed in a pan with a little bit water for 3 hours at 170 C° - turning it once after 1.5 hours - that's the whole story! Delicious.

dinner in the museum

Vienna. The Museum of Fine Arts is one of my favorite buildings in Vienna. Yesterday we had a gourmet dinner in its domed hall (it takes place every thursday). Between the meals you can stroll thrue the museum and return back to your table whenever you want. We even had a very special opportunity: We were allowed to go on the roof of the museum. Quite an experience. Next thing to do: Buy an annual ticket for the museum!

Weekend. Since I had a tiny-mini "operation" on Friday I've spent a relaxing weekend with cooking Paella, baking Banana-Chocolate Cookies and watching Carnage - gotta love Christoph Waltz' acting and Kate Winslet's scarf as well as the apartment the whole film took place!

what's in the parcel?

Cheerios in the morning. Why do postmen always ring on the door when I'm under the shower? Well today I was lucky, because my dad was still at home to open. Ordered some christmas presents 3 days ago - they are really quick at Amazon, right?! Wished there was a new package of Honey Nut Cheerios in it too, since the one my sister brought from America is already emptying. Did you know that Cheerios ist the world's best selling cereal? Well then, why don't they sell it in Austria?

Food craving. Just had a Chili Burger and Blue Fries (they look burnt, but they really are just blue) at Die Burgermacher. Everything very fresh and very yummy and just 5 min from home.
