NEW FLAT. Can't believe I didn't blog for almost one month - time seems to be speeding up lately. So many amazing things happend last month. Most amazing of all: Joe bought an apartment!!! I still can't believe how lucky he was. It really isn't an easy thing to buy a flat in Vienna - everything is extremly expensive right now (you should rather sell than buy). He was searching for about 4 month looking for an old apartment (high ceilings and doors, wooden floors) with about 70 sqare meters and at least 2 rooms. We really saw a lot apartments during this time. He finally found one with a reasonable price and a favorable layout but about 2 days before signing the contracts, the owner told him he would sell it to somebody else who offered a lot more money. This was really disappointing and Joe was really angry. Immediately after this call, he picked up his search on the internet and found a very pretty looking apartment which was online just for about one hour - you really have to be fast when it comes to buying a flat in Vienna. He was the first who called the agent and thereby was also the first to have an appointment to view the flat. To make a long story short - the apartment was just about perfect: old, very pretty details, perfect layout, reasonable price - everything he was looking for. There were many other people who wanted this apartment and even offered more money, but we were really lucky and the seller liked us a lot, so Joe got it!!! There needs to be done a lot, and time is short (Joe wants to move in in 3 weeks haha). So here are the first pictures to get an impression...
