when time stood still

Hidden treasures. I've spent the weekend in Switzerland. Looked at a house my parents are interested in, together with two architects and two of the owners - quite a lot of people for such a tiny house. It was built in 1963 and there are many things that need to be done. Everything the pre-owner had, is still in the house, eventhough nobody is living there anymore since three years. Maybe there are some treasures hiding in between all the things.

new faves

via Sincerely Jules

New In. New clutch and bracelet from H&M. The clutch has a removeable shoulder strap. The bracelet had a leather band wrapped around it, but I took it off. Tried shoes on, in a loud blue today. I like them a lot, but I also like the fuchsia oxfords from Gap which are almost half the price just ordered the fuchsia ones from Gap. Uff, can't wait to be in the US. Why is everything so much cheaper over there?

screw cuff

Screw it! I have seen this video a few weeks ago on the Zara homepage and fell in love with the cuff she is wearing, but I couldn't find it online. Yesterday I found it even though I wasn't even looking for it anymore. It's by Miansai and they have a looot of cool bracelets. But I don't know if I want to afford it right now. Hmm...

Cambridge Leather Satchel

White. Limited stock now available at Cambridge Leather Satchel Company. Would look pretty cool next to my black one don't you think? But I guess if I would buy another one I would prefer a grey one though. Or navy? Vintage brown?... Too much choice!

just in time

Today at 8 in the morning I got a short message from Joe that said, that there were some chairs outside my door that look quite nice and are probably for take away. I took a quick look out the window but I couldn't really see because I wasn't wearing my contacts. Living across from the theater for a few years and knowing that they are always moving their stuff around, I just thought they were changing their stage design. I was wrong, but I didn't know, I was asleep again. At nine the doorbell rang and I was up in about a second because I was expecting a parcel (I will show you later). After that, I was quite awake and after puting in my contacts, I took another look. This time I saw, that the things were really just to be thrown away. With my coat thrown over my pajamas (!) I stepped out on the street and asked the guys if I could take the chairs. They said I can take two of them, they needed the others to keep the space for the truck that was coming to pick the things up. I was happy with two. But as I was just collecting them, I heared a voice behind me. The truck just turned into the street and it was the driver's voice asking if I could take the other two chairs so he could park there :) so finally I got all four of them! Hehe.

pretty books

Jo Berryman living room via here

Shelfing. Sometimes books are just too big for an average book shelf. Instead of just puting them on a pile, this is quite a nice way of showing them off. I purchased a book today, that would like to stand in this shelf. Actually I bought the book because I really liked the cover and it cost like nothing!

Oh well

There were only a few things on my saturday to-do list. Two of them was going to a spa and shopping at some furniture stores. On the way, after a quick stop, the motor decided not to start again. FFWD - 3 hours later, which contained a lot of waiting and changing the car's batterie, there was no time left for the spa. Oh well, it was a nice day anyway. Bought a new chair, pillows, sideboard and a few kitchen utensils for Joe's apartment.

back home

namaste! Arrived early today back home, after 2 adventurous weeks in India. I will post some of my favorite photos and stories later. For now - some of my purchases. I thought I would buy a lot more, but somehow all that bargaining is really not my thing!
